Curves, Colours and Cool and Hot Stuff! The Birth of Studio Glass: Exploring Antiques with Mark Hill from BBC's Antiques Roadshow.

The next Special Interest Day is presented by Mark Hill, an expert on 'Miscellanea' from the BBC Antiques Roadshow and on the BBC’s Antiques Roadtrip. He has published over 15 books on emerging specialist subjects in the decorative arts, and lectured across the world including the V&A in London.
 
The morning lectures : Curves, Colours and Cool and Hot Stuff! The Birth of Studio Glass will be followed in the afternoon by an evaluation event focusing on 20th Century ceramics and glass and members will be invited to bring in examples of these that we have around us in our homes.  He will select around 15 items to speak about and would be available to cover the rest one to one after he has finished.
 
Application forms will be available at the September lecture.
