Welcome to

The Arts Society South East Suffolk

Formerly Ipswich Decorative and Fine Arts Society

Offering a programme of lectures, study days, cultural visits and volunteering projects, we exist to promote the understanding, enjoyment and the flourishing of the visual arts.

Our lecturers are highly qualified in their chosen fields; we try to ensure that our annual programme has something to interest all our members. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month, from February to December (excluding July and August) at Kesgrave Community Hall. Our meetings are sociable as well as educational.

Lectures are held in the main hall at Kesgrave Community Centre, Twelve Acre Approach, Kesgrave IP5 1JF. There is ample car parking. Coffee is served from 10.00 am. There are Notices at 10.45 am and the Lectures start promptly at 11.00 am, lasting for an hour.

We have volunteers involved in Church Recording and a lively grant-making programme benefiting various artistic and heritage activities, especially in Young Arts.

If you are interested in membership of our Society or would like to attend a lecture as a guest do please email us by clicking our Contact Us Tab.
